How do I share a discovery in the feed?

Confirm your email and publish your profile first. In The feed, write a publication and use Attach a discovery to search the catalogue. Check the displayed visibility before publishing; it follows your profile.

How much can I write in a publication?

Standard publications, quotes and comments allow 280 characters. Eligible official Vennjoy accounts and accepted affiliates have 1,000. The editor shows your current limit.

Who can see a private profile’s publications?

Only the account owner and accepted followers can read them. A pending follow request does not grant access. Visibility is checked again when shared content is opened.

Can I keep a publication for later?

Use the save action on a publication and find it in your saved feed. Saved publications are private; access still depends on the author’s current visibility settings.

How do I report abuse?

Use Report on the relevant publication or discussion. For an account problem or a wider issue, contact Vennjoy under Report abuse and include the page address.

How do following and blocking work?

Follow a member from their profile; private profiles require acceptance. Manage requests, followers and blocked accounts in My connections. Blocking removes follow links between the two accounts, but is not a way to hide public content from people browsing while signed out.

Can I edit or delete my publications and comments?

Use the menu on your own publication or comment. Review edits before saving. Deleting removes the content from Vennjoy’s displays, but cannot remove copies someone may already have made outside the site.

Which photos and GIFs can I publish?

A publication can contain up to four still JPEG, PNG or WebP photos, each up to 8 MB and 40 megapixels. Add a description for accessibility. Animated GIFs and animated images are not currently accepted; sharing an animation link is not the same as uploading it.

Is my draft saved automatically?

The new-publication editor saves the text and attached discovery to your account when its saved indicator appears. The draft is private. Selected photo files are not saved in the draft: choose them again after leaving the page.

How do reposts, quotes and mentions work?

Repost shares an eligible publication; Quote adds your own text. Type @ followed by a handle to mention a member. Sharing never grants access to private content: the original author’s current visibility still applies.

How do I control notifications and emails?

Open Notification preferences from your account settings to choose mentions, replies, reactions, messages, follows, circles and release updates. The daily email summary is optional. Turning off an alert does not block the member or stop messages from arriving.

What do account types and badges mean?

Profiles can identify a person, artist or organisation. A verification badge and an organisation affiliation are distinct: a small organisation logo shows a confirmed link, not ownership of every opinion posted. Request verification in Edit profile → Type and verification; choosing a type alone does not verify an account.
