The Bates Motel

Sobre este evento

Descrição original

The Bates Motel are a guitar‑driven rock/Americana/R&B outfit featuring some of the North East’s most loved players: Bad Bob Bates, Ally Lee, Les Young, Dave Coates and Adam Forster. With decades of performing and recording behind them — including three members who are respected engineers/producers with enviable artist pedigrees — the Motel bring their collective history together in a set drawn from BBB’s back catalogue and new Lee/BBB collaborative writing.
Their next album, Factory Road, is due for release in early October, following an extensive live album recorded in Scotland earlier this year. Both will be available on Bandcamp (Music | Bad Bob Bates), alongside the EP Songs For The Lost And Lonely and the recent single Shape In The Mirror: Video: https://youtu.be/6mspgPgrpfk?si=AZ8U5laGSb8rQRVT

The Autumn Sunday afternoon Cluny show has become a favourite for the band and their local supporters. Here’s the encore from last year: https://youtu.be/s9L-BPTNZ-Y?si=iCrHk5AsGymI4UQh
Great players, great songs, and a Sunday afternoon at The Cluny — perfect for friends old and new.
