Undead Menagerie

When the zombie apocalypse strikes, the zoo becomes a death trap.

Zookeeper Imogen loves her work caring for endangered Iberian lynxes, and a promotion is on the horizon. But when a colleague betrays her, her life goes into free-fall.

Mike dropped out of college to raise his sisters. Now, over twenty years later, it’s finally time to live for himself. Step one of his new life: propose to his girlfriend. But an unwelcome surprise shatters his plans and the future he’s longed for slips from his grasp.

If Imogen wants to protect the animals she’s devoted her life to, she’ll have to adapt. If Mike wants to find his family, he needs to survive.

Trapped inside with the animals—and cut off from the outside world—Imogen and Mike must find a way out before the infected turn the zoo into a feeding ground.

Together, they must escape the zoo—before it’s as deadly as the ravenous hordes beyond its fence.

Narrated with gritty intensity by Guy Barnes, Undead Menagerie is a tense, character-driven zombie apocalypse survival thriller perfect for fans of Rhiannon Frater and D.J. Molles—with relentless survival, grounded characters, and zombie stories where the human cost matters as much as the body count.
