Once-celebrated Syrian poet Nadene now works as a maid in New York. Her quiet life unravels when she agrees to let the FBI use her apartment window for surveillance, led by agent Emily Santiago. Torn between survival, motherhood, and the desire for freedom, she embarks on a dangerous journey that blurs the lines between justice and self-sacrifice.
