The Baby Clause

Two best friends. One bed. One very bad idea…

Wedding officiant Nancy Tucker is great at happily-ever-afters...when it comes to other people.

Now, with her biological clock ticking louder than the countdown to New Year’s, Nancy decides she’s done waiting for Mr. Right.

She wants a baby, and she knows exactly who to ask.

Her best friend, Elliot.

There’s just one problem: Elliot thinks sleeping together is the fastest way to destroy the most important friendship of his life. He refuses to do anything to put what he and Nancy have in jeopardy.

Until a New Year’s Eve party at a swanky Vermont hotel leaves them sharing one bed…

Suddenly, keeping things platonic is off the table. One explosive encounter leads to steamy trouble in every nook and cranny of the hotel—and a shocking realization neither of them can ignore:

Maybe this isn’t just chemistry. Maybe they’ve never been “just friends.”

Maybe this has always been love…

Now all Nancy and Elliot have to do is survive one spectacular small-town misunderstanding long enough to make it to midnight—and figure out whether risking their friendship might be the only way to get everything they’ve ever wanted.

The Baby Clause is a steamy, laugh-out-loud best-friends-to-lovers, just-one-bed, forced-proximity, baby-making romance packed with holiday chaos, meddling townsfolk, dirty-talking chemistry, and a New Year’s happily-ever-after.

Look for new Silver Bell Falls novels every year, just as the air begins to smell like snow…

ALERT: The Baby Clause is a reimagining of The Naughty Billionaire’s Baby Bargain. The original story has been expanded with more than 30,000 brand-new words, including steamier steam, more LOL banter, and a bigger, more satisfying happily-ever-after.
