A physical and sound story about the night as a place of resistance, desire and collective longing. Here a carnivalesque world unfolds, a charged space of revolt and tenderness, of togetherness and metamorphosis. Inspired by folk beliefs, nocturnal creatures and revolutionary stories, storytelling becomes a force in itself. Núx is the ancient Greek word for "night", while brúx derives from the root for grinding teeth. Together they form Núx brúx, a poetic description of grinding teeth in sleep. With features of magical realism and collective dream states, the night opens like a portal. A place where other ways of being together can be sensed, where bodies glow, dissolve and are put back together.
