Description d’origine
Have you always been the "funny friend"? Do you have stories that kill at parties but aren't sure how to turn them into a stand-up set? Most people think you have to be "stage-ready" before you show up, but every great comedian started with a messy notebook and a little bit of nerves. The Crescent Comedy Workshop is your low-pressure entry point into the local comedy scene. This isn't a high-stakes show---it's a collaborative gym where we build jokes from the ground up. Bring a notebook, a pen, and that one funny thought you've been sitting on. We'll help you find the tags, the punchlines, and the confidence to get moving.
Avant de partir
This is the ONLY authorized ticket seller of Crescent Theater. Any tickets purchased by third party sellers (Stubhub, Vivid Seats, etc...) are subject to cancelation without notice. A portion of all service fees include a "facility fee" that goes directly towards upkeep and maintenance of the theater. All seating is on a first come basis. In order to present the best experience for patrons and performers, we ask that you: -Silence your cellphone before the show starts -Refrain from recording the show (both video and audio) and using flash photography -Keep your chatter to a minimum, including heckling the performers. If a comedian wants to engage with you, they will. If all else fails, maintain a "speak when spoken to" mentality. Crescent Theater and it's staff reserves the right to eject any person exhibiting loud, distracting or intoxicated behavior.
