Torn between family duty and fear of fatherhood, he abandons his pregnant wife in Monterrey and sets off on a desperate road trip across the border. Accompanied by his childhood friend, Manny’s journey through the vibrant and perilous Texas–Mexico borderlands becomes one of self-discovery, forgiveness, and transformation.
