The Secret Door To Success

Florence Scovel Shinn (1871–1940) was an American artist and illustrator, a meta-physical spiritual teacher, and New Thought author and leader of the early 20th century. Her writings have inspired generations of readers seeking personal growth, prosperity, and fulfillment.

Shinn emphasized the creative power of thoughts, words, faith, and intuition. Her work blends spiritual principles with practical guidance, encouraging readers to align their Divinely held beliefs with their desired outcomes.

The Secret Door to Success, was first published in 1940, and was Shinn's third and final book. 1940 is also the year Shinn passed away.

In this timeless classic, she explores the spiritual laws which govern achievement, abundance, and happiness. Shinn teaches that faith, positive expectation, and right action based on your intuitions and hunches, can open the "secret door" to success in every area of life.

The book continues to resonate with readers seeking inspiration, confidence, and a deeper understanding of how mindset and spirituality can shape their life experiences.

As an aside, there was one last book which was compiled from notes she'd written over the years and published posthumously. That book is entitled 'The Power of the Spoken Word'. There was also a manuscript she wrote and was later published as 'The Magic Path of Intuition' and released many years afterward.

**It's worth noting that Shinn's first book, The Game of Life and How to Play It (1925), was initially self-published because she was unable to find a publisher. Her later books, including The Secret Door to Success, became associated with DeVorss Publishing which has continued publishing her works for decades.
