La historia

La historia transcurre en el mundo de Remnant, el cual está invadido por fuerzas sobrenaturales y seres oscuros llamados "criaturas de Grimm". Previo a los eventos de la historia, la humanidad se enzarzó en una guerra para sobrevivir a los Grimm antes de descubrir un elemento misterioso al que llamaron "el polvo", el cual ayudó a la humanidad a combatir a los monstruos. En la actualidad, el polvo es usado por los humanos combinándolo con armas o con su propio cuerpo, otorgando a una persona habilidades mágicas. Aquellos que luchan contra los Grimm son llamados cazadores. Las protagonistas, cada una con sus propias armas y habilidades, forman el equipo RWBY dentro de la Academia Beacon, que entrena a los jóvenes a partir de 17 años para formarlos como cazadores, guerreros cuyo propósito es proteger a los habitantes de la ciudad de Vale y de todo Remnant.
