La historia

Más allá de los límites de la realidad (The Twilight Zone) es una versión de la serie homónima de los años 60. La idea de la serie surgió de la posibilidad de crear un Senado controlado por robots. La serie utiliza la ciencia ficción como metáfora para explicar todo tipo de situaciones comunes y hacer así una crítica a la sociedad. Los temas que se tratan son muy distintos: histeria colectiva, guerra nuclear, capitalismo, dictaduras... Todos ellos estaban prohibidos y el autor y guionista, Rod Serling, se valía de la ciencia ficción para poder tratarlos de una forma única, haciendo que los censores pasaran por alto esta serie de televisión. Cada capítulo cuenta una historia completamente distinta al resto.
