The central characters of the series are Irena Rot and Rok Slak, a charming photographer from the city and a nice carpenter from Dolenjska. Their path to happiness will be anything but easy. In a seemingly idyllic village, suspicious things begin to happen, namely someone incites fires and sows fear in the bones of the villagers and firefighters.
