The story

The story follows María Soler, an actress trapped in an abusive marriage, and Alejandra Monasterio, a wealthy woman dying of terminal cancer. After discovering they are identical despite being unrelated, Alejandra convinces María to assume her identity so she can care for her young son. As María begins her new life, she becomes entangled in a dangerous conspiracy involving organ trafficking, deception, and family secrets while fighting to protect Alejandra's child and uncover the truth.
