LIKE ME -- songs, truths, and gossip! I have always found it both fun and challenging to do something more than just a straight-up ordinary concert when I get the chance to meet an audience. Over the years, I have wrestled with fidgety slide projectors, had heated dialogues with myself in the form of a life-size cardboard doll, rode in a triumphal chariot in gladiator armor and I have even toured with a real therapist who had therapy with me on stage between songs. In 2023, the book "OM Niklas Strömstedt" was published, which is an autobiographical journey through both his private life and his more public career, and while working on that book, the idea was born to also let it become the very basis for a stage performance. Which songs made the hairs on my arms stand up? What did Evert Taube say when he called? How do you get out of that paralyzing and destructive silence and when suddenly there's a turkey hanging under your chin -- what the hell do you do? And love -- can you understand it?
