EMPRESS EROTIQUE

About this event

After captivating audiences in previous years, one of the Australian Burlesque Festival's most beloved and unforgettable shows is making its long-awaited return.

Dark, decadent and dripping in glamour, Empress Erotique is a tantalizing journey into the erotic, mysterious and spellbinding. Blending classic burlesque elegance with our edgier performances, this audience favourite celebrates the art of tease through an intoxicating lens. The Australian Burlesque Festival's event, Empress Erotique, makes its dazzling debut at Melbourne Spiegelhaus in 2026 as part of the festival's spectacular 17th anniversary celebrations.
For those who experienced Empress Erotique in years gone by, you'll know why audiences continue to talk about it long after the curtain fell. For those discovering it for the first time, prepare for an evening of stunning artistry, breathtaking performances and unforgettable spectacle.

As we celebrate 17 years of the Australian Burlesque Festival in 2026, ABF is thrilled to bring back some of Empress Erotique that has helped define the festival's history and showcase the incredible diversity of burlesque and variety.
