It turns out that Cikgu Ku is a close friend of both her parents and spent four years taking care of Addie in London, but their relationship was severed when Addie returned to Malaysia. Puzzled by why such a close relationship ended, Addie becomes entangled in her father's plan to bring her mother and Cikgu Ku together.
