Hard Core Alien: Starlight Gargoyles #3 (Intergalactic Dating Agency)

He turned to stone five hundred years ago. Then his fated mate turned up with a wrecking ball.

Structural engineer Stacey has brought down bigger buildings than one crumbling Scottish kirk, and she signs the demolition order without a second thought. Then the gargoyle she'd marked for the skip wakes up, pins her to the wall, and growls that she just tried to kill him, right before announcing that she's his fated mate.

Hallr has guarded this crumbling kirk for centuries, and he has no interest in a bossy human with a hard hat and a wrecking ball... until her hand lands on his chest and the stone comes roaring back to life. There's just one problem. Thanks to a filing mixup at the Hot Tatties Dating Agency, Hallr is officially matched to another woman entirely, and they are adamant that Stacey isn't his. Hallr knows better. She can bulldoze his home, argue with his matchmaker and deny the bond until she's blue in the face – but stray too far from him and he crumbles straight back to stone, and the only thing that keeps him breathing is a taste of her blood. He's waited hundreds of years for exactly one mate. Good thing gargoyles are built to last.

If you love a spicy monster romance – possessive alien warriors with wings, tails and a thirst for blood, strong women who don't like being told what to do, gothic Scottish nights, found family and sizzling, stone-shattering happily-ever-afters – get swept up in the world of the Starlight Gargoyles.
