Wild-hearted Si-Mao leaps from a diving board, only to plunge into an empty pool, freezing his life at youth’s brightest— and cruelest— moment. Comatose for 40 years, his accident reshapes his friends’ lives: Baobei finds comfort in his unknown twin brother in Japan; guilt-ridden Sun Jie flees to America; loyal A-Wen and disillusioned Mianyang drift between the underworld and reality.
