The Shadow Collector

What if every shadow remembered something its owner had forgotten?

Max has always thought shadows were nothing more than darkness cast by the light.

Until one reaches back.

After discovering that certain shadows contain memories, Max realizes he can touch them and experience moments that don't belong to him. Fragments of the past. Powerful emotions. Secrets their owners may have forgotten or desperately tried to hide.

At first, his strange ability feels like a mystery waiting to be solved.

Then the shadows begin appearing everywhere.

The more Max explores his unusual connection to them, the more difficult it becomes to separate other people's memories from his own. Some shadows are frightened. Others are angry. And some seem to be leading him toward a truth someone has worked very hard to keep hidden.

Max soon discovers that he isn't the only person who knows what shadows can hold.

Someone has been collecting them.

Manipulating them.

Using the memories trapped inside them for a purpose Max doesn't yet understand.

As the Shadow Collector draws closer, Max must learn to control an ability he barely understands and uncover the secrets hidden within the darkness before the memories he has absorbed overwhelm his own.

But some shadows were never meant to be explored.

And some remember far more than they should.

The Shadow Collector is an eerie supernatural mystery filled with living shadows, hidden memories, strange abilities, dangerous secrets, and unsettling discoveries. Part of The Haunted Chronicles, this standalone adventure can be read in any order.
