A Place Called Home

Three Children, Two Hearts, One Promise Changes Everything

It was a gesture of love that neither thought would become a reality. However, when the unthinkable happens, Mitch Baker and Thea Wyndham are called to fulfill their promise as godparents to their mutual friends' three young children in the wake of a tragic accident.

Mere acquaintances, Mitch steps up, ready to honor the promise, but Thea has vanished.

When she finally returns, Thea offers no explanation—only a quiet refusal to share custody. Engaged to a man with no interest in raising another family, she insists she's not the right person to raise the children. Instead, she offers support without commitment—and Mitch is furious.

Thea's silence is its own kind of heartbreak, but Mitch can't shake the feeling that she's hiding something deeper. As tensions rise, attraction stirs between them, making it impossible to keep things purely about the children—or their responsibilities.

They now face the hope that two broken hearts could create something for the children, or the threat that fear, secrets, and unspoken desires might tear them apart for good.
