The Baby's Own Aesop is a collection of rhyming and "pictorial" Aesop's Fables originally published in 1987. The fables are condensed in rhyme each pictorially pointed by Walter Crane. The portable morals of the story appear at the end of the each text. Walter Crane (1845-1915) was one of the earliest contributors to children's literature and one of the most influential illustrators in the development of children's color picture books.
