Unhinged

She made a deal with the devil and I lost.

Two years ago, the girl I protected, the innocent I would have done anything to save, betrayed me. It cost my men their lives. It should have cost me mine.

But I survived the ambush. And I made it my mission to find her.

I sought her out. Tracked her. Shadowed her every move.

I’ve been inside her house. I’ve eaten her food. I’ve stood over her bed and watched her sleep.

Now it’s time to reintroduce myself to Eve El-Amin, baby sister of the El-Amin family.

Teach her the consequences of her actions.

But when the devil rears his ugly head once more and she is in danger, I have no choice but to give her my protection. Because she won’t survive without me.

It just might cost us both everything we have left.
