Savages (Unabridged)

Plunged into a ruthless off-grid training regime under an enigmatic ex-Special Forces legend, Jason King is pushed to his limits when a deadly clash with mercenaries threatens his very survival. The third book in The Jason King Files series from Matt Rogers, million-copy bestseller and ‘the most successful writer you’ve never heard of’ (The Story).

'Keep up this pace and you’ll be brain dead in a week. You need to get better.'

Concerned about the unbelievable physical damage inflicted on black ops warrior Jason King over the course of his first two missions, his superiors send him off-grid for an extensive training camp.

King touches down in the Democratic Republic of the Congo, delivered into the hands of an ex-Special Forces legend known only as Brody. The mysterious combat veteran exiled himself to a compound near the Rwandan border after a storied and secretive military career.

As Brody sets to work sharpening King into a human weapon, their proximity to a heavily protected copper mine sets them on a collision course with a reckless party of South African mercenaries. By the time the carnage reaches its apex King finds himself plunged into a savage, primal world he knows nothing about.

But he knows one thing.

He won’t go down without a fight.
