Candid and keenly observed, I found it laugh-out-loud funny in several places, there's a sharp, knowing level of satire throughout the book, combined with weary cynicism, and some of the scrapes and exchanges are comedy gold. Spurious Scrapper is a fast-moving and grimly hilarious novel that takes the reader into a wretched subterranean world that is as appalling as it is compelling. Highly recommended. - Rose Auburn

Fans of Trainspotting by Danny Boyle will surely enjoy this book. A must-read for those who are not afraid to dive into the darker side of life. - Stuart Brkn Johns

Trigger warnings - drug and alcohol use, homophobia, violence, sex, self-harm, talk of sexual assault and abuse, torture.
