AUGUSTIBLUUS 2027 Augustibluus will be held for the 33rd time in 2027! Founded in 1994, Augustibluus has grown into one of Estonia's most important music festivals and has earned a well-established place among Europe's leading blues festivals. Over the years, the stage at Haapsalu Episcopal Castle has welcomed numerous world-renowned artists, including The Fabulous Thunderbirds, Andy Fairweather Low, Lucky Peterson, Devon Allman, Eric Gales, Curtis Salgado, Chris Cain, Candye Kane, Coco Montoya, and many others. Alongside these international stars, the festival also features many of Estonia's and Finland's finest musicians every year. During the three-day festival, nearly 40 concerts and events take place across around 10 different venues throughout Haapsalu. The heart of Augustibluus is the courtyard of Haapsalu Episcopal Castle, where the festival's main concerts are held. The programme also includes acoustic concerts at Haapsalu's historic railway station, performances along the seaside promenade and throughout the town, church concerts, poetry evenings, and late-night concerts at the Haapsalu Culture Centre. One of the festival's greatest strengths is its diverse and well-balanced programme, bringing together internationally acclaimed artists, exciting emerging talents, and Estonia's and Finland's best-known musicians. Special emphasis is placed on showcasing the many expressions of the blues---from traditional roots blues to contemporary blues rock and soul. The charming atmosphere of the small seaside resort town gives Augustibluus its unique character. Concert venues are spread throughout the town, allowing visitors to enjoy both spectacular main stage performances and intimate courtyard concerts. Close interaction between artists and audiences is an essential part of the festival, as is the vibrant club scene with its late-night jam sessions. Festival dates: 6--8 August 2027. Ticket Information A festival pass provides access to all Augustibluus concerts. Children up to and including 14 years of age are admitted free when accompanied by a ticket-holding adult. Admission is free for wheelchair users. Companions are required to purchase a ticket.
