Fireworks and Blueberry Turnovers Book 1

The town of Christmas Tree is preparing for the biggest celebration in its history—the 250th Anniversary of America. Patriotic banners line Main Street, fireworks are ready to light the mountain sky, and Collins Bakery is busier than ever as owner Eleanor Collins fills her display cases with blueberry turnovers, raspberry cupcakes, lemon butter cookies, and her famous pineapple upside-down icebox cake.

But the festivities come to a shocking halt when respected businessman Thomas Whitaker is found murdered just days before the celebration.

As rumors spread through the close-knit mountain town, Eleanor is drawn into an investigation that uncovers far more than a single murder. A forgotten silver key, missing historical records, a mysterious ledger, and decades-old secrets surrounding the town square reveal a conspiracy that has remained hidden since America's Bicentennial.

With the help of steady Sheriff Caleb Parker, her loyal best friend Grace, and Toffee, her lovable dachshund with an uncanny talent for finding clues, Eleanor follows a trail of deception that stretches back fifty years. As the truth comes closer to the surface, someone is determined to keep the past buried—even if it means killing again.
