A handling fee of 30 CZK applies. The 30th anniversary edition of the Brutal Assault festival will once again bring visitors to the Josefov military fortress in Jaroměř, Eastern Bohemia. The meticulously curated program will offer a cross-section of the best in extreme guitar music from the past 30 years. Confirmed names so far include Danish pioneers Mercyful Fate, Finland's Children of Bodom, British gothic rock masters The Sisters of Mercy, and genre stalwarts such as Emperor, Carcass, Hypocrisy, Belphegor, and Devildriver. The lineup also features the Polish black metal entity Mgła and a performance by the legendary Czech band Master's Hammer, who will play their debut album Ritual in its entirety. Alongside the diverse musical lineup, this year's festival will again feature an extensive accompanying program consisting of numerous art exhibitions, workshops, lectures, and historical displays. The immense fan interest in this anniversary edition is evident, as the festival has already sold over 40% of its total capacity; therefore, organizers advise those interested not to delay purchasing tickets.
